Bio

Vonetta holds an BA in English and an MBA in Finance from Georgetown University. She has published essays in Ozy, The Billfold, and Thought Catalog. She is currently writing her first book, a memoir about her search for belonging and stability after she was abandoned by her preacher father. She lives in Washington, DC.
